Depeche Mode Releasing 'Tour of the Universe- Live in Barcelona' DVD and Blu-ray Nov. 9

Depeche Mode will release Tour of the Universe - Live In Barcelona on DVD with Audio CDs Combo Sets and Blu-ray November 9 through its longtime label, Mute. 

The legendary British band's tour behind its album Sounds of hte Universe took the trio of Dave Gahan, Martin Gore and Andrew 'Fletch' Fletcher to 40 countries, playing 102 shows for more than 2.7 million fans, confirming their status as one of the world's most popular bands. 

Live In Barcelona features 21 numbers recorded over two sold out nights at the Palau St Jordi in Barcelona November 20,-21, 2009, now being issued a year later.

The DVD and Blu-ray also feature bonus material that includes four tracks recorded across the two nights, a tour documentary - 'Inside The Universe," two tracks filmed at tour rehearsals in New York and Anton Corbijn's specially created "screen films" for seven tracks plus additional bonus montages created from the on-stage screens. The four promotional videos from the Sounds Of The Universe album including the Grammy nominated "Wrong.'  
directed by Patrick Daughters, are included.Tour of the Universe - Live In Barcelona will be available in three formats: 

• Super deluxe 4-disc version (2xDVD, 2xCD) with the video material and the entire concert on CD
• Deluxe version (1 x DVD, 2 x CD) with the concert and two audio CDs. 
• Blu-ray (2x Blu-ray discs)

In additional Depeche Mode news, Martin Gore and original member Vince Clarke, who went on form Yaz then Erasure are working together on a some dance music. Whether it's a single record, EP or full-on album has yet to be confirmed.
