With a new album, The People's Key, due February 15 on Saddle Creek), Bright Eyes has announced additional tour dates for 2011, the band's first string of U.S. shows in more than three years.
Since 2006 the core of Bright Eyes has been permanent members Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis and Nathaniel Walcott, joined by various musicians in the studio and on tour. The seven-piece band will be kick off the 2011 tour in Miami in March. Following a sell-out in New York, Due to overwhelming demand an additional Radio City Music Hall show has been added in New York.
The People's Key is the first Bright Eyes album since 2007's Cassadaga.
